Pat’s role at SAP is to work closely with current and prospective customers to leverage best practices in business intelligence, their data assets and SAP Business Objects business analytic solutions to improve business performance. Pat joined SAP Business Objects in 2006 as Insurance Solutions Director within the Enterprise Performance COE. She subsequently has held roles in global consulting helping customers define effective performance analytic solutions and in solution management developing pre-defined industry applications. She is a recognized insurance and healthcare payor industry analytics thought leader.
She has over 25 years industry experience with a focus for the past 10 years in industry-applied business intelligence, data warehousing and analytics at various vendors including Information Builders and Teradata. Prior to her vendor experience, she led the insurance industry business and technology research service at META Group, now part of Gartner. Her industry experience includes AIG, The Hartford and Munich American Reinsurance. Her industry service includes the Insurance Data Management Assn., Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters and the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association. Pat is a graduate of Pace University .
She is a frequent speaker and writer on the topics of information management, business intelligence and performance management in the insurance industry. She has been a regular guest columnist for Best Review magazine’s Technology Insights column for several years, writing on analytics.
