Commissioned Research from IIA Shows Year-Over-Year Advanced Analytics Adoption Rates Rapidly Rising

The International Institute for Analytics (IIA) today announced the release of its 2016 report on the current state of advanced analytics and big data. Developed in partnership with Dell Digital Business Services®, this report provides a current update of the groundbreaking research published at the end of 2014. It examines to what extent mid-market firms and large enterprises are using and investing in advanced analytics and big data to progress business goals and gain competitive advantage.
The research, commissioned by Dell Digital Business Services® and executed by IIA, studies the current adoption of the advanced analytics and Big Data landscape among firms in the United States. Specifically, the research assesses advanced analytical maturity at the firm level, trends and usage of advanced analytics and Big Data, and execution of advanced analytics projects among mid-market and enterprise organizations. The study was originally conducted in 2014, with a second wave fielded in the fall of 2015. The report compares research findings from each year.
