Managing Director, Operations Research & Advanced Analytics, American Airlines, American Airlines

Tuell Green is a seasoned, results-driven AI/ML executive with 26+ years of experience applying operations research and data science to improve airline business decision making. He leads large, cross-functional teams driving business transformation initiatives to address a wide range of business challenges, including scheduling and network optimization, staffing, routing, predictive maintenance, disruption management, customer segmentation, and targeted marketing. He is named on 10 US patents issued for advanced analytics solutions implemented at American. Green’s current focus areas include accelerating American’s adoption of generative artificial intelligence to improve decision making across the enterprise. He earned Master’s and PhD degrees in Operations Research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
