Kari Jones is a senior executive and board advisor with deep expertise in data, digital transformation, and operational excellence. Currently serving as executive director of operational excellence and enablement at New Zealand’s Financial Markets Authority, Jones leads the delivery of cross-functional capabilities that power regulatory effectiveness and digital innovation.

Her career spans the public and private sectors, including leadership roles at Health New Zealand, Woolworths Group, NZ Post, Air New Zealand, and PwC. Jones is widely recognized for her ability to design systems of work that enable high-performing teams, modernize legacy platforms, and drive data-informed decision-making at scale. She is passionate about reshaping how organizations use data to deliver impact—and how leaders can create environments where talent thrives.
