Portland, Ore. (February 16, 2021) – The International Institute for Analytics (IIA), the leading independent analytics and data science research and advisory firm, today announced the appointment of analytics industry veteran Andy Walter to its board of directors. Mr. Walter has served as an advisor to IIA since 2018 and was an early IIA customer during his leadership of P&G’s analytics transformation as Senior Vice President, Global Business Services (GBS) & Global IT.

Mr. Walter brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to IIA. With over 15 years of experience serving on multiple boards and in advisory roles, Mr. Walter has an extensive background in helping organizations with strategy and development. He provides strategic level advisory to a host of disruptive innovators in the analytics and digitization domains.

Mr. Walter currently serves as a member of the Digimarc Board (Nasdaq: DMRC), and a member of numerous non-profit boards including the Ovarian Cancer Alliance, Cincinnati Museum Center, and the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Walter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati.
